Long weekend of fun...

The long weekend has been fantastic.

Highlights of the weekend (that has yet to end):

Visited John and Ennie on saturday. Just a little more than 3 weeks old, the baby girl is simply adorable. She has been blessed with lovely eyes like mum's and lips like dad's. More importantly, Ennie looks so happy! John is so lucky to have such a loving wife and beautiful child.

We were then invited by Gr for dinner at Dan's house.

Then come Sunday... I had an early start at church. This was followed by lunch at Gr's place.

Then, just barely 3 hours later, we met again at our place. Took a walk down to the beach near our place together before adjourning at our place again for dinner.

Exciting week isn't it??

CNY Celebrations

I had an awesome night and I got to meet more new people again!

I've gotta lotsa thoughts on my mind though. All I can say now is that I'm proud to have been a brave girl =) I shall write more tommorrow when my head has cleared up after a good rest. In the meantime, here are a few pictures to sum up the night.

I was Down South Again!

The Meelup Beach... Don't you wish you could be here with us???
Rozy's turn to shoot!

I was on a short trip down with Rozy and Huong just yesterday. It was such a lovely lovely day, with bright sunshine and cooling breeze. We were in Busselton and Yallingup.

First stop was archery somewhere off Busselton. I scored 45 points at all 9 stations, which according to Huong, was a great start for beginners. *Chuckles*

Next stop was for food and the Christian Fletcher photo gallery in Dunsborough . The gallery was fantastic!!! I love those shots of nature. Snow-capped mountians, a gay day at the beach, sunlight filtering through the forest and sunset in the dessert... Wow! Those breathtaking views were all translated by him into photo memories!

We stopped at Meelup Beach. The waters sparkled under the gay sunlight with lovely shades of blue... It was all too captivating and, Rozy and Huong couldnt wait to dive into the waters for a swim! =)

We went for a slow drive in Yallingup (where more beautiful coastlines await!) before heading home. The trip was good though I got abit of sunburn and was real tired.

I slept at 6pm yesterday and only woke up at 10am this morning! Haha!

Day Trip- Wapole

SL and I had a smashing time at Wapole today. The journey took about 3.5 hours. But the trip was well-worthed afterall. We went for the tree-top walk in the morning and had an eco-cruise luncheon. Gary, the guide for the eco-cruise, is really fantastic and knowledgeable.

The eco-trip reminds me once again how man are "mistreating" our environment, and how little attention we are devoting to enforcing laws, to protect our fragile Earth from further damage. Well, we are human afterall. It is only understandable that economic and political advantages comes before anything else.

I recall an article published in the Jan Edition of National Geographic Magazine, about the murder of Dorothy Stang. All she did was trying to protect the Amazon Basin from extensive deforrestation. In doing so, she agitated 2 gunmen, who obviously had no regards for the previous existence of wildlife and the diversed species (known or unknown to man) of the forest.

The brutality of mankind is all too insane. I wonder what the world has come to. Those who do good are no longer rewarded deservingly.

Anyway, here's some pics for all to savour, before all these beautiful creations of God vanish for good.
